1. Do I need to bring along my own poi or staff?
Trainers will bring along a few sets of practice pois and staffs
to every class but if you have your own favourite equipment that you prefer to train with and feel comfortable with, do bring it along to the class. Do feel free to ask if the practice pois and staffs are for sale! Because they are!
2. Can I cancel if I am booked for a lesson?
Yes we can accomodate cancellations however do try to keep them a minimum as a form of goodwill.
3. What shall I bring to the class?
Bring along a towel to wipe down any sweat, some water to hygrate and a huge smile.
4. How shall I prepare for my first class?
We highly recommend a session or two of light stretching, a light meal, some deodorant, and a drink of water.
5. Wet weather plans?
In the case of wet weather, trainers will make a decision prior to the class to decide if the class is on or not. Once the decision is made to continue the class at the alternative location we will make a call out to you to inform you of the change and confirm your attendance. Should the rain be way to heavy for the session, it will be cancelled and trainers will also make a call out to you to inform you of the session cancellation. 7. What shall I wear?
We say comfort over fashion so do some in your most comfortable and airy clothing. Perhaps you may also consider putting on contacts instead of your glasses. However, if you are doing some basic throws, do wear covered shoes to protect your toes.
8. Do you guys do private session?
We are most delighted to meet new people. Private lessons of a minimum class size of five and a maximum class size of 25 are possible, however do give us a call to confirm location and timing details as we may be unavailable during certain dates. Fees for private sessions are SGD$90 for the first five individuals and SGD$15 for every additional person.

How many sessions do I need to attend?
Everyone learns at a different pace. There is no minimum lessons to undertake however, we would recommend five sessions to get things started.

Why will you not do fire?
The sessions are meant solely for beginners or intermediate learners who may simply like to learn some choreography. the use of fire equipment maybe harmful to a new twirler and accidents may happen. Hence, all sessions will not include practice with fire props.
12. Why do I need to provide a contact number?
We strongly recommend providing a contact number in cases of suddent changes to the session schedules, to provide a pre alert to wet weather location changes or cancellations due to small class size and urgent cancellations.
13. Can the class be done regionally? Sure! Tiki Twirl Trainers are available for travel around the region, simple give us a call to work out the dates and engagement amounts .
